Do you know what an electromagnetic flowmeter is?
Electromagnetic flowmeter is a new type of flow measuring instrument developed rapidly with the development of electronic technology in the 1950s and 1960s. Electromagnetic flowmeter is an instrument that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure the flow of conductive fluid based on the electromotive force induced when the conductive fluid passes through an external magnetic field.

The electromagnetic flowmeter is a flowmeter that performs flow measurement according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. The advantage of the electromagnetic flowmeter is that the pressure loss is extremely small and the measurable flow range is large. The ratio of the maximum flow rate to the minimum flow rate is generally above 20:1. The applicable industrial pipe diameter range is wide, up to 3m. The output signal and the measured flow rate are linear, with high accuracy, and can measure conductivity ≥5μs/cm The fluid flow of acid, alkali, salt solution, water, sewage, corrosive liquid and mud, mineral pulp, paper pulp, etc. But it cannot measure the flow of gas, steam and pure water.

The electromagnetic flowmeter has a large measurement range and a wide range of optional flow rates; the diameter range of the electromagnetic flowmeter is wider than other types of flow meters, from a few millimeters to 3 meters; it can measure the positive and negative two-way flow, and can also measure the pulsating flow, as long as the pulsation frequency It is much lower than the excitation frequency; the output of the instrument is linear in nature; it is easy to choose the material variety of the parts in contact with the fluid, and it can be applied to the advantages of corrosive fluids.
