It is applicable for the working conditions where the input shaft speed is not greater than 1500rpm, worm gear peripheral speed is not greater than 10m/s. It features compact structure, small size, smooth operation, low noise, large overload capacity, small moment of inertia, low transmission efficiency, low revolving speed. The worm is made of alloy steel and the worm gear of anti-friction material (bronze or gray iron). It is widely used in mechanical equipment drives of metallurgy, mining, transportation, chemical, textile, light and other industries.
