Features
Laser quenching adopts high-energy laser as the heat source to quickly heat and cool the metal surface, the laser quenching equipment process is completed instantly to achieve high-hardness, ultra-fine martensitic structure so that the metal surface can meet the needs of special working conditions. It has the advantages of quenching without deformation and cracking, no need of tempering and grain refinement. Compared with the traditional quenching, laser quenching enables to obtain higher hardness (increased by HRC3-5), wear resistance and surface fatigue strength. It is widely used for surface hardening of wearable parts and the work-pieces with large complicate curved surface in metallurgy, machinery, mold, petroleum, chemical industry, such as rolls, gears, guide rails, shaft necks, cylinder inner wall, molds, etc.
