This type of absolute encoder provides unique one-to-one encoded numeric position value of each shaft position for absolute positioning control or speed feedback mainly. For positioning control, it is not necessary for the electronic receiving equipment to make counting. When the equipment is powered off or power fails, it can go on monitoring the current position value without necessity of returning to the position reference point after the power resumes. The encoder is designed with industrial standard housing and the currently prevailing electrical interface. Its resolution can reach 16 bits max. for single-turn type, and 30 bits for multi-turn type. Absolute encoder also stands out for its high protection degree and strong anti-interference ability, and it is suitable for industrial automation application.
