As a lifting tool, the hook assembly is normally suspended on the wire rope of the lifting mechanism by means of pulley blocks and other components. The hook assembly includes two types i.e. the one with single hook and the one with two hooks from the point of view of shapes; or forged hook and laminated hook type according to the manufacturing technique. The tool with single hook is with simple manufacture, easy to use, always used for lifting the objects less than 80 t while that with double hooks used for the cases that need to lift the heavier objects with symmetrical force. The laminated hook is riveted by several pieces of cut-formed steel plates, features better safety performance, but its dead weight is higher, thus it is always installed on the crane with large lifting capacity, or the ladle crane. It is unique, novel, with high quality and good safety. This hook assembly is suitable for lifting heavy objects in factories, mines, oil, chemical, ships and docks industries, etc.
