Features
The capacitive sensor consists of high frequency oscillator and amplifier, and a capacitor is formed between its sensing surface and the ground. When an object comes to the sensing surface of the sensor, the capacitance of the oscillator circuit changes. The two states of oscillator, i.e. oscillating and stop oscillating, are converted into electrical signals, which are converted into binary switching signal by the amplifier as output. The sensor is characterized by wide voltage range, high repeatable positioning accuracy, fast frequency response, strong anti-interference performance, high temperature resistance, and good waterproof performance. It is mainly used as detection input signal of the computer and programmable logic controller (PLC) installed on an automatic industrial production line.
