Cylindrical spiral spring is a commonly used mechanical part. The circular section material is used into a spiral shape by cold rolling and hot rolling, and then followed by corresponding heat treatments according to different materials used. Common cylindrical spiral springs include compression spring, tension spring, and torsion spring. It has the advantages of high elastic limit, fatigue limit, impact toughness, heat resistance and large elastic deformation capacity; and characterized by compact structure, stable rigidity, long service life and easy manufacturing and installation. It is widely used for buffering, vibration reduction, storage capacity and motion control in machinery and equipment.
