The vertical multi stage centrifugal pump is of multi-stage segmented design, compact structure, and equipped with mechanical shaft seal that is detachable easily, with high efficiency and energy saving, less leakage, low noise, runs stably and reliably, convenient maintenance. If shock absorption and noise reduction are required, optional connection plate and shock isolation pads or shock absorbers can be added for installation. The pump is adequate for supply of different varieties of water, pressure stabilization, circulation boosting, conveying of clean water or media with similar physical and chemical behavior.
